WSI History
When Joe Goodeyon Jr. and his wife, Jessica, established Wellhead Systems, Inc. in 2007, they built the company with grit, determination, and an unwavering commitment to their customers. Today, WSI is a world leader in the innovative development and manufacturing of independent wellhead equipment for the oil and natural gas industry.
In a small building they constructed in Hill City, Kansas, the Goodeyons worked tirelessly, often around the clock, trading shifts while the other rested in the upstairs living quarters. From the very beginning, innovation was central to their business model, starting with the development of a line of wellheads designed to rival the best casing and tubing heads in the industry.
That same commitment to innovation continued over the years, leading WSI to expand its offerings into a complete production tree. This relentless drive for innovation, combined with industry-leading quality and service, has positioned WSI as a market leader.
But the company did not stop there. WSI’s customer-centered approach to doing business has driven Joe Goodeyon and his team to continue developing new ideas born from daily conversations with customers across the United States and around the world.
Still family owned and still based in Hill City, WSI has come a long way from those early days. Its manufacturing, assembly, and warehouse operations now cover 40,000 square feet, and what began as a husband-and-wife operation has grown into a team of more than 40 talented product designers, precision machine operators, business development managers, and other professionals dedicated to serving oil and natural gas producers of every size. Through it all, WSI continues to push the envelope in new product development and improvements to existing products because the company remains committed to providing solutions that drive real value for its customers.
